'Zero' box office collection Day 6: The Shah Rukh Khan starrer film sees a big drop in the collection on Wednesday
Aanand L. Rai directorial family entertainer '' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma has seen a massive drop in the collection on its sixth day. The film had seen a decent increase on the national holiday for Christmas, even though it pared below other movies which saw a much higher jump in the collection at the box office. The movie sees Shah Rukh Khan essaying the role of a dwarf man for the first time, who romances a differently abled scientist played by Anushka Sharma and is love-struck by a popular heroine played by Katrina Kaif. The film which hit the screens on December 21 has entered its sixth day.
According to the latest report by BoxofficeIndia.com, on Wednesday, the film has managed to collect Rs 5 crore approximately on its sixth day at the box office. The collection of Wednesday is around 50% lower than the Monday collection. The film has now managed to collect a total of Rs 81 crore in six days. It remains to be seen whether the film can go over 100 crore.
The plot of the film revolves around Bauua Singh (Shah Rukh Khan), a vertically challenged man who squanders his father’s money and is besotted by superstar Babita Kumar (Katrina Kaif). He falls in love with a scientist, Aafia (Anushka Sharma) who is affected by cerebral palsy. Their love story travels from India to the US and all the way to the outer space.
Directed by Anand L. Rai, 'Zero' stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The film also sees a range of Bollywood stars making their cameo appearances during the whole film. The film also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Sheeba Chaddha, Jaipreet Singh and Brijendra Kala in supporting roles.
