Vicky Kaushal is surprised by Katrina Kaif and here's why!

From being ‘the boy in Masaan' to being recognized as ‘Vicky Kaushal'; 2018 had certainly been a blissful year for Vicky Kaushal. The actor has had a hat-trick with Manmarziyaan, Sanju and Raazi. The films have not only gained the actor immense critical acclamation but have also made him a name to reckon with as a bona fide actor.
Of the many roles that the actor has pulled off with immense talent; he credits his role in Sanju as the game changer for him in the industry. The actor was quoted saying," Sanju made me reach houses of the nation. Before 2018, I was ‘that guy from Masaan', now they know me as Vicky Kaushal".
Recently on the famous ‘Koffee with Karan' couch; Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif had expressed her desire to work with Vicky Kausal. Well, now it is not every day that one of Bollywood's most sought after actress would express her desire to work with a relatively fresh actor.
When quizzed about the same; Vicky Kaushal quipped that," I was surprised that she knows about my existence. But the love that is coming my way is great".
Vicky, will next be seen in the action thriller based on real life events of the surgical strike in ‘Uri' by the Indian Army. The film is titled under the same name and will also feature Yami Gautam, veteran actor Paresh Rawal and will be the debut film of popular TV actor Mohit Raina. Vicky has undergone rigorous military trainings including several Boot Camps as a part of the preparation for the film.
Talking about the training phase Vicky said," Even when you're walking, your posture and stance, and even your handshake should be of a soldier. You can't become a solider just by getting inside a uniform." The actor met several real life military personnel's during his training period and spend long hours with them.
The actor further said," I wanted to understand their mindset; how they psychologically prepare, how they feel when they lose a team member and what are their true fears."
Uri is slated to release on the 11th of January.
