antarvasnaDirector Rohit Shetty action flick '' starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan has witnessed a good third-week collection at the box office. Regarded as Ranveer Singh's first mass entertainer, the film has also emerged as the highest grossing movie of Rohit Shetty. 'Simmba' which hit the screens on November 28 sees Ranveer Singh play a corrupt cop who turns into a hero and fight for the justice. Sara Ali Khan plays the love interest of Ranveer. The film has crossed the Rs 230 crore mark. However, the film doesn't seem to be ending any soon even after it crossed its third week.

According to the latest report by BoxofficeIndia.com, in its third week, the film has managed to collect Rs 20.25 crore in twenty-one days at the box office. The film has till now managed to collect a total of Rs 232.16 crore in three weeks at the box office. The third-week figures are good but the film will not reach the Rs 250 crore mark as the drop from the second week is on the higher side.

The plot of the film revolves around the title character 'Simmba' who is a corrupt cop and lives an unethical way of life. Soon an incident happens in his life which transforms him and makes him choose the righteous path.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film also stars Sonu Sood, Siddharth Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The film also sees cameo appearances from Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and the Golmaal team. 'Simmba' is the Hindi remake of Telugu language film 'Temper'.
