After Padmaavat, Karni Sena now targets Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi
The Maharashtra Karni Sena is back in action and how. The group has now targeted Kangana Ranaut's film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi.
Karni Sena sent a letter to the producers, writers and the directors which states that the image of Rani Laxmibai is maligned in the film.
Well, the leading lady Kangana has also reacted to the same where she said to a leading portal "Four historians have certified Manikarnika, we have got censor certificate as well, Karni Sena has been conveyed this but they are continuing to harass me. If they don't stop then they should know I am also a Rajput and I will destroy each one of them".
Kangana Ranaut's portrayal as Manikarnika in the film is touted to reignite patriotism in the true sense. Kangana is currently occupied in the post-production work of the film.
Manikarnika marks the debut of Television actress Ankita Lokhande. The actress will portray Jhalkaribai in the film which was said to be the right hand of Rani Laxmibai. It also stars Atul Kulkarni and Zeeshan Ayyub in key roles. The film is scheduled to release on January 25, 2019.
